Rules of cooperation and service regulations
Effective from: February 2025
1. Who prepared these rules?
Good day. We are Baltic Strategy & Development. Our company has been operating in the port of Gdańsk since March 2017. Our office is at 11 Jana z Kolna St. in Gdańsk. For years, we've been ensuring Polish brands from Tczew, Kartuzy, or Gdynia don't overpay for transport and stack their warehouse goods smarter. This document is our regulations. We don't want to write it in difficult language, because we know time and specifics count in business. By using our site or ordering our workshops, you agree to these rules. If something is unclear, call us at +48 58 767 30 00. Numbers don't lie, and clear rules are the foundation of good work.
2. What exactly do we do?
Our offer isn't empty slogans, but concrete actions on numbers. We specialize in logistics audits and implementing the Lean method. What does that mean in practice? We enter your company and check where money is escaping. We offer a Zero Audit for 499 PLN, which lasts 120 minutes. We also have a Lean Sprint for 14,370 PLN, where we reorganize workstations in two days. The third leg of our activity is Export Supervision for 3,180 PLN monthly – we then monitor your transport invoices and CMR documents. We are not a freight forwarder. We don't have our own trucks. We are advisors who stand on your side and ensure carriers don't charge you strange fuel surcharges.
3. What do we expect from you?
Logistics is math. To help you, you must provide us with true data. If we ask for the last 12 courier invoices, it's because we want to check real costs. If we agree on a Lean Sprint, you must let our auditor on the floor and allow him to talk to workers. We don't judge anyone; we just look for bottlenecks. It is also your duty to pay for our services on time. In the case of the Zero Audit, payment is made upfront. For larger projects, like the Lean Sprint, we agree on a specific schedule. Remember, our advice only works if you actually implement the remedial plan in your warehouse.
4. Money and invoices
All prices you see on the site are net amounts. We add 23% VAT to each of them. We are supporters of transparent settlements. You will pay for the Zero Audit quickly by transfer after receiving a proforma. For permanent export supervision, we issue invoices every month. If you are more than 14 days late with payment, we can suspend the analysis of your transport documents. Why do we do this? Because our team of 14 specialists must be sure we have time for solid work for companies that settle their dues on time. In 2024, we recovered an average of 5,400 PLN for our clients just from errors in transport invoices, so our service usually pays for itself.
5. Your data and security
When you leave your business email in the form, we use it only for contact on logistics matters. We do not sell your data to database traders. Your transport invoices and audit reports are safe with us. Only Marek Wiśniewski and the auditor assigned to your project have access to them. We treat confidentiality as seriously as the weight of goods on the ramp. If you want us to delete your data after our cooperation ends, write to us at m.wisniewski@strategiabaltycka.pl. We will respond within 110 minutes and confirm that everything has been deleted. We respect the privacy of our 84 regular clients and we will respect yours too.
6. Our reports and copyrights
All reports, cost analyses, and 5S instructions we prepare for you are your property for use in your company. You can copy them and show them to your workers. However, we do not agree for you to sell our optimization methods to other consulting firms. These are the fruits of our work since 2017. We have developed unique spreadsheets and CMR checklists. We protect our knowledge because it allows us to shorten packing time by 22 minutes without buying expensive IT systems. If you want to recommend us to a fellow entrepreneur in the industry, we'll be grateful, but just give him our contact info.
7. What are we not responsible for?
We must be clear: we cut unnecessary movements in the warehouse and look for savings, but we don't have influence over everything. We are not responsible for sudden Maut increases in Germany or fuel price changes on world markets. These are external factors. If our report indicates that changing cartons by 3 cm will save you 12,400 PLN annually, these calculations are based on current freight rates. If shipowners raise prices by 50% overnight, your real savings may change. We are also not responsible for your workers' errors if they do not follow implemented Lean procedures. We show the way, but you lead your business.
8. Termination of cooperation
Most of our projects are quick sprints that end with a specific report. However, if you use Export Supervision, we have a 30-day notice period. We want to have time for a calm handover of all matters to your team. We can also resign from cooperation if we decide we aren't able to realistically help your company. We'd rather say it honestly at the beginning than take money for something that won't bring a return. Honesty is the foundation for us, which is why we've had such high effectiveness in supply chain optimization since September 2017.
9. Law and courts
We operate in Poland and are subject to Polish law. If a dispute occurs that we cannot resolve over coffee in our office in Gdańsk, the case will be decided by the court competent for our headquarters. However, we believe in simple solutions and specific conversation. Throughout 8 years of activity, we've only had one dispute and it was settled amicably in 15 minutes. We are from here and care about a good reputation among Pomeranian entrepreneurs. These regulations apply from February 2025 and may be updated if transport regulations in the European Union change.
