From the port of Gdańsk to managing Baltic Strategy & Development
I have worked in logistics for 11 years. I didn't learn the trade from textbooks, but at the container terminals in Gdańsk and Gdynia. I founded Baltic Strategy & Development in September 2017 because I was tired of watching Polish exporters overpay for transport just because no one checked the fine print in the contract with the shipowner. Numbers don't lie – in 2024 alone, I improved the operation of 14 supply chains, allowing my clients to keep an average of 12.4% more margin in their pockets.
Concrete plan instead of theory
My approach is simple: I go to the warehouse, count the forklifts, check loading times, and pull out transport invoices from the last 7 months. We cut unnecessary movements in the warehouse that generate empty runs. For example, in March 2024, for a furniture manufacturer in Pomerania, we shortened the time to prepare a pallet for shipment by 34 minutes. This isn't magic, it's pure math and knowledge of port realities. (I've been there, I've seen it with my own eyes with over 84 clients).
Specialization in export and freight
My main task is making sure goods don't sit in the port pointlessly. I handle rate negotiations that a regular forwarder often doesn't want to touch. If you ship goods to Norway or Sweden, I'll find a way for transport to take less than the standard 11 business days. I don't promise miracles, but I guarantee that every zloty spent on logistics will be justified in the report I provide every month.
Why do I work differently?
At Baltic Strategy & Development, we don't use big words to hide a lack of results. If the audit shows your logistics is working well, I'll tell you straight to your face and won't take money for searching for problems where they don't exist. Usually, however, I find fuel billing errors that cost companies an average of 4,230 PLN monthly per truck. If you want me to review your last 3 carrier contracts, let me know – I usually respond within 2h 14min.
Book a 20-minute call about your logistics
Don't waste time reading offers that all look the same. We can talk facts. I'll check your routes and tell you where the money is leaking. You can write to me directly at m.wisniewski@strategiabaltycka.pl or call our office in Gdańsk at 11 Jana z Kolna St. We work Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, except for the first Tuesday of the month when we do internal project summaries for our 487 regular partners.
